I don't care about whatever generation there is tacked on here, but, while there are plenty of on-screen romances I like, I don't mind guys and girls just being good friends, and I've always really liked how Po/Tigress were handled with it just kinda being there. Granted, some of that is simply due to romances in kids movies typically being rushed dogshit, but the simple friendships are often much more watchable, and I think you could argue more realistic for a growing relationship anyhow.
It also makes for great art/fanfic bait too since it eggs on those creative who really want to see it.
