I don't understand it either. I don't find it fun nor does it have any functional merit to itself.
This was my setup. Ended up with HPGay because I wanted something reliable and versatile for different fields. Other than that it was just lighweight tropical BDU, ALICE webbing with a buttpack and the HPA tank in it and a plastic "training" PASGT. Probably the most fun loadout I had.
