i've never played hs but snap goes above and beyond when it comes to rng, i mean i am not even talking about stuff like ego, the reality is that some games are literally over the moment the first location is revealed

conquest mode mitigates the rng but doesn't solve the underlying issues, there should at the very least be a mode where specific locations are banned entirely but even then, every location tends to favor specific archetypes anyway

now that i think of it, a mode with location abilities completely disabled would actually be fun
