Both games require a decent amount of moonrune knowledge, I assume Xenoblade X is a tier higher for the more unusual kanji characters but I can't confirm it myself
You can easily swap the game language by changing the system language to Japanese with Nintendo titles (outside of Xenoblade 2 & Famicom Detective remakes which have their own regional SKUs), no need to import
