I don't think I've ever understand Libertarianism. It's never worked. It never will work. It fundamentally relies on people not being corrupt or a system that can't be corrupted. Laissez-faire has no safeguards or regulations. Its actually even worse, because it almost encourages the most corrupting influence that exists, money, to be directly injected into politics and policy-decisions.

No offense, but do you have to be stupid to truly be a libertarian? Even worse, every time a libertarian tries to make a point it reinforces in my mind that they're idiots.
