I wouldn't say it's "movie of the decade," but as a lighthearted superhero movie I think it works pretty well.

>Corenswet's Superman seems like a guy trying to do right (as the plot intended), is a likeable character
>good combo of comicbook campiness and real-world issues

>plot holds together decently well, even though there are some iffy scenes like the public instantly turning on Superman after they see the full Jor-El message
>Jimmy, Lois, the Justice Gang, and the rest of the side-characters are memorable
Admittedly, I went into it with family and we grabbed popcorn, pizza, soda, and M&Ms, so I was already in a pretty lighthearted mood, but I think that Gunn's Superman is a solid watch. It has a lot of Gunn's usual humor and self-parody, but I went in expecting that.
