I'm glad you guys were able to squeeze out this much actual gameplay discussion out of a short clip where nobody even dies.
Picrel is more context for it that I should've probably provided sooner. Bard and viego just died because zac counterganked, I managed to pull out alive.
The qiyana player was premade with nami and is at 900k points as qiyana but only 19 qiyana games played this season (this being 20th), all within this week. This explains his outdated setup and rusty execution.
Now I don't have really have anything to say about the qiyana stuff directly because I'm not well versed in the details of how she works but I can speak from the perspective of playing against her out of lane.
If she uses bush Q and approaches into her E range I'm about 98% confident I cannot cancel her E with my E as vayne. Between network latency, human latency and cast times it takes too long for everything to come together and it'd most likely hit after qiyana already dashed through me. Maybe a gook on 7 ping and a line of coke could do it but it doesn't sound like something I'd be able to pull off.
I could have probably walked away from this without even using barrier if I just kept walking straight exactly in the middle between turret and bottom wall.
There is also another angle this was possible to play out for me - assuming qiyana initially greeds the ult (which she indeed does but this whole scenario ends up playing out the way it does because I assume she just ults) I could've stayed a little closer to the turret and E flashed her into the wall with turret aggro on her which would've killed her at the cost of my flash.
