They really are mediocre AK-47 type3 pattern rifles at best. And boomers have indeed put a delusional premium on them, just like they do everything - shit, just go to any gunshow and look at any booth run by a boomer. I think a WBP AKM-pattern rifle is of higher quality and can be had for 1/3 of the price. Polytech and Nornico are overrated.
