Why would "richfags" as a whole want to pay more taxes to support these people? Perhaps construction and agriculture benefit, but the majority do not. It is obvious that those pushing for open borders are left wing parties and the government. In the 19th century at the height of capitalism immigration was largely restricted to Europe. Now after the new deal and massive expansion of government spending they openly state they want more "diversity" and make it clear they mean racial diversity, only 2 obvious logical steps from saying they want less ethnic white Europeans. To them it is an important social cause to undermine border controls and make it easier for people to move to America and apply for welfare so they can bring their dependents, even though it does not benefit the general welfare of the people.
Sanctuary cities like New York that support open borders vote for left wing politicians such as self-avowed democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani. These cities suffer under massive crime and corruption, businesses struggle and need to invest in heavy security, and many are just fronts for money laundering. It is not an economic powerhouse. If you are looking for high standards of living in America and a good place to do business you are better off moving to some Republican flyover state. Again, why would "richfags" want this?
