One of my external HDDs started disconnecting and reconnecting a lot. Been using it on my main Windows 10 LTSC PC for over a year now and never had this issue. I did a disk check and found zero issues and checked with crystal disk and everything showed up ok. I checked device manager and notices an exclamation mark for my external drive. I tried updating and said windows already had the right driver so I tried disabling and then removing the driver and restarting my pc but still get the same exclamation mark. Nothing about installing a new device or anything when I plug it back in. Even the hardware ID doesn't even look right, I don't think this was the original name of this driver either.

I'm not sure what went wrong. Only thing different I've done in the last 24 hours since this post was install Malwarebytes since I've been going over a year without any protection(and surprise surprise it found nothing on my PC) but I remember it disconnecting and reconnecting once last night after it was installed as well.

All my files and stuff still work and are usable but I'm scare of it disconnecting as something could corrupt.
