It may be better to say that he's utterly uncompromising towards "evil", regardless if it comes from humans, aliens, or monsters, though this doesn't really fit with the mercenaries either way.
This is the least of Murata Mask's issues, though, since his general narcissism and willingness to kill the other heroes to save his own image is a far larger stumbling block, and he's practically irredeemable at this point. ONE is always careful to make his assholes (excepting Tatsumaki) at least somewhat reasonable in their actions or at least not have them do something truly heinous.
