I think what happens is vtubing gets merged with general streaming in the west and idolfags are going to have to move on again because half of the hobby is deadset on destroying the point of it in the first place.
Like I always thought the point of this shit was to separate the IRL stuff away from the streams and games. To blur those lines is to completely defeat the point of the hobby in the first place and isn't treading new ground, just going back to what was already being done for years like every other streamer
