I remember a social media meltdown by sensitives over the use of "gendered language" in describing what it takes to make a space marine.
A fucking open letter to GW was made I think on Goonhammer and the guy went full Reddit mod on the comments saying nobody is entitled to a platform or some shit like that.
I legitimately envy the comfortable lives people must have when the use of "he" instead of "they" is what sends them into a frothing rage.

I don't think anybody is. It is really not fair to paint everyone as a bigot who opposes such things. It is more like they have seen the mistreatment of other sci-fi IPs with Star Wars being the biggest example just having the magic that made it special being squeezed out. So people oppose female space marines because they oppose the magic of 40k being squeezed out.
