That would take too long to explain but he decided to make a kickstarter for a 15 year old open source sandbox zombie survival roguelike made by Whales

The guy who made the fork was The Darkling Wolf, who used to post in rlg
Kevin really just picked the fork from him, condemned thedarklingwolf into damnation memoriae (he is only known if you go as far as 12 years ago in the revisions for the roguebasin article) as I did here

basically what he did was raise some money for a fork someone else already did the code for and he thought "we'll give this coer like 15 K $ and he'll fix everything"

that was 12+ years ago
Turns out kevin aws actually a petty dictator and he only got worse over time

the game has been bloodlet since 2015
the group literally didn't fix anything for the most part
it's not even a roguelike anymore by the devteam's standards
