These images are technically with some fan mods installed that make the game look even better, but the same principles apply. Relatively high poly count models, clean and detailed textures, glossy materials. That's all you need to make some poppy visuals. So much bullshit today to make things look only marginally better than they used to....it's certainly frustrating
