The insane negative reviews is only because of the chinks. Whether because of actual legit stuff, or just seethe over the historical stuff IDK and I don't care. English reviews are at 70%+ and I feel like that's fair.
There is some performance issues, but for me on a 3080 I haven't really had any stuttering outside of one time I booted up the game and went back to an early area I hadn't been in over 10 hours and it took a minute for it to fully load in I guess. Outside of the two spots in the forest where it dropped to 50 frames I've generally been running it at 70-80fps.
