Also, the Duel Masters spinoff web-anime, "I don't wanna be a dragongirl!" has Monark, a male dragon in the mainline series, have a female voice and use "watashi" in the spinoff, thus further lending claims to these alt arts and the "I don't wanna be a dragongirl!" anime as alternate universes where the monsters are instead feminized into anime girls. Duel Masters has canonically been stated to have alternate universes btw.
