They tried to go big with only 12 episodes. My biggest issue is that a ton of things aren't shown. Like the main trio spending time together, it happened but it's barely shown if at all and as a viewer you can't really bring yourself to give a shit about them. Things get mentionned and then never again. Lots of wasted potential. They could at least have dropped some hints of who shuji is and what his goal was instead of making him disappear and then come back as a totally different character at the end
