SEA women are great fun but Thailand is difficult to stay in long term for a variety of reasons.

I prefer Laos.

>Police presence much lower and easier to bribe
>Women are cheaper to buy
>Medical facilities are alright
>Can buy just about any kind of antibiotic or barbiturate in most pharmacies

Cambodia is about the same.

IF you are going to stay in Thailand, then stay away from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Patayya, and anywhere that's a magnet for tourist. Stick to areas that are close to the Laos and Cambodian border so you can leave by train or bus quickly if need be.

Places like the Issan region are a gold mine for gooners since the price of girls there is so cheap and the police are so few.

Beware of wild dogs.
