Despite the presence of those two Aprils and the one from TMNT×Naruto one, it's amazing how '87 April is still referenced in Fortnite, Shredder's Revenge, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 within the same time frame as Rise and Mutant Mayhem's releases. Reminds me of Disney wanting to have its cake and eat it too by marketing more than one version of Ariel: classic Ariel (Disney Princesses, Speedstorm, Mirrorverse, Disney Pixel RPG, Lorcana) and remake Ariel (2023 live-action remake, Disney Junior animated show). Both examples make the raceswapping even more lazy and pointless than they actually were.
