It was a rather small section in the V4.5 release announcement and there hasn't really been much of anything to follow up on what "text generation update" even means, for all we know it could be a new sampler or whatever. I presume they know how starved the textgen side has been and that those words should carry some degree of importance, but who really knows with them, not like they talk much about what they're working on.
