>Remember when Lamar got MVP over Purdy despite being significantly worse because he supposedly had less help?
Lamar carried his team to the 1 seed that season unlike Allen who failed to do so in this season.
The MVP race was close between Purdy, CMC, and Lamar and everyone agreed whoever won the head to head game would win MVP. Purdy had a 4 interception meltdown and the 49ers ended up benching him and his backup QB outperformed him. So a team with two MVP candidates got their shit pushed in by Lamar. It would be criminal to award Purdy with an MVP after that.
But going back to Allen, he had a chance to beat Lamar in the head to head, but he got blown out 35 to 10. Allen had one of the worst performances in NFL history. I think he broke a record for least completions for x amount of attempts or something.
Meanwhile Lamar passed Michael Vick's record for most rush yards of all time and could have potentially broken Rodgers record for a single season with the highest passer rating but he ended up sitting out the later half of a game. And I think it goes without saying that a 41 TD and 4 INT season is historic. Most of those INTs were from his receivers fucking up perfect throws.
