desu I don't think they completely settled on what Nobodies were meant to be in vanilla KH2. Originally they were said to be empty and forgot how to have emotions after becoming Heartless. But that couldn't have been the full picture, because Roxas clearly understands things like friendship, anger and social cues in the tutorial Twilight Town. 358 and 3D had to clarify that Nobodies start out empty, but can basically relearn how to be a person. The true anomaly was Sora coming back to life without someone killing his Nobody, which allowed him and Roxas to walk around as two people.
