Not sure that's really a good argument with these things. Plenty of people were vocal about backing the Ghost despite not liking Rebels because they just want to support TVC projects in hopes of getting something they do want. Also you don't need to be a fan of Andor to want a Rebel dropship. You don't even have to pack the character in with it.
