Indeed, if someone pitched the SIG XM7 or the P320 to the IDF and IMI they'd get laughed at and told to go back home. Besides Uncle Sam flips the bill for their military so they don't need to make retarded budget cuts or even reasonable budget cuts.
On another note holy crackers what a waste the military contract P320's were as well, it would have been cheaper just to give armories a bulk orders of spare Beretta parts oh but that wouldn't be 'cool' 'futuristic' and 'modular' or whatever retarded meaningless buzzwords these committees come up with to justify wasting tax dollars on automatic leg hole punchers and castration devices. Either that or just give everyone Glocks or M&P's at that point.

Yeah because they went bankrupt somehow managed to come back from the dead and are now just gonna stick to making Pythons and SAA revolvers till the end of time, meanwhile BCM, Noveske and a dozen other companies are doing the serious AR work.
