Simon says tier. If you can remember what you did that kept you alive last pull, you're good. Most attacks are telegraphed clearly as "I'm going to swing this way, watch out" too.

Yes and no. The gear is worth it to do other content that comes out within/around savage cycles, but some content is basically just "look at my weapons and title" flexes
New players, unless you boost (which is a terrible waste of money if you're still in ARR) won't see it for a while so just see if you like the combat and normal content at all first.
