I'm currently playing DMC4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 on my Xbox 360. My impressions so far:

DMC4: I'm halfway through the game, apparently (there's an achievement for that); and I enjoyed my time with Nero more than with Dante right now. Even though I didn't master the Exceed skill, I still manage to land some between attacks and I'm pretty consistent with it's timing on the upward slash. Having played DmC before this, I'm fond of the "Snatch" ability, which is great if you don't want to chase the enemy to keep the momentum. As for Dante, I feel like the changing styles on the run is too much for me right now; but maybe some training could make me enjoy it more.
My favorite boss to beat right know is that dragon plant demon, and I love how you can interact the bosses using the demon buster as Nero.

NG4: The combat is satisfactory; especially because of the animations. It feels good to land that charged attack on enemies to see that long attack animations while I mash X and Y pretending to help do something (Idk if it actually does something). I managed to beat the first boss doing the charged attack consecutively, iirc.
The boss I had most trouble with was the second one, which is the first boss but with lots of enemies around. The guy fighting Joe Hayabusa was easy by comparison.
I'm currently on Chapter 3 on the underground part.
I feel that as long as you're always moving while defending, you'll be safe. Otherwise, you WILL get grabbed.
But, yeah, fun game (Although the enemies bombing themselves on me are still disturbing).
