It's all head canon. Confirmed is Janus being cured of the flesh change by Malcador's use of the arcane machinery of the Imperial Palace on Tera by combining his broken body with the "Pure Shard" of Magnus the Red. It's my speculation that Malcador performed this action to create a potential candidate for a desperate last ditch effort to occupy the Golden Throne (which he later did himself).

Malcador connection is again head canon, though perhaps slightly more confirmed with the introduction of Kaspor ( >>96224481 ) and largely has to do with the storyline of Revuel Arvida, Thousand Sons loyalist who became the Grey Knight Janus, being the fulfillment of a prophetic claim regarding the Thousand Sons and a "Raven of Blood". The Blood Ravens descend from Janus is important because it works around ADB's claim that BLOOD RAVENS ARENT LOYALIST THOUSAND SONS!!!!!!11!! because Janus is a wholly separate being.

The Exorcists/Minotaurs/Red Hunters/Scorpions claims have a lot to do with the meta contextual real world manufacturing/IP process. Specifically the lore for the Exorcists and the Blood Ravens demon possession entirely overlapping. Red Hunters/Red Scorpions only require the smallest logical step to make that mind wiped Inquisitorial agent Astartes can be dressed up in whatever ceramite the Inquisition deems appropriate and if you're entertaining the idea you can make the logical conclusions to understand that there's no possible """hard evidence"""" to prove any of these chapters actually exist and aren't on paper codenames for the Inquisition. Again in the meta context of the Blood Ravens game production and time line of the Imperial Armor that came out featuring those chapters I believe that the IA Astartes were likely published as a "proofing" of potential Blood Ravens explanations/origins. Basically cutting off potential claims by being able to point to the Red Hunters or Minotaurs when you make a suggestion at the Blood Ravens origins.
