Giants: Citizen Kabuto comes to mind, but you don't get to control an army there
Still worth checking out, I think it was made partially by the same devs, and it's also the funniest game I've ever played
There's also Space Rangers 2, but the Action RTS side is a sideshow and a bit awkward, but overall it's a fantastic title
