Sexuality is a product of science popularization. An historical curiosity. Most people consider a lifestyle of exclusive M4M sex to be deeply flawed, even gays themselves feel sorry about 'disappointing ancestors' and wasting human potential. Lesbians are so vulnerable to this, I won't even harp on them. There's no equivalency between gay and straight, which is why zest was originally classified as a disease when the first pseudosciences hit. There's no inherent human identity related to fetishes or physical associations, there is no 'sexuality.'
Sex feels like self-discovery because the world and history are so much greater than self. On one end of the spectrum you have yourself, gaysexual "ase" virgin who's afraid of being touched. On the other end you have Oscar Wilde, genius, beloved artist, gourmet of life. Actually 10 million Oscar Wildes. Experiencing the touch of another person, learning the language of intimacy is always going to feel like great truth for your end, because it connects you to the genius of humanity. Gays have the same experience going straight, which is why most have sex with women at some point and many are OCD or incels. There are plenty of reasons to choose your sexual type and stop experimenting, but none of them involve a deep biological or psychic imperative. It's a myth.
