So, the story so far as I understand:
>Aussies are worried about chinks and decide that they need submarines
>Ask USA and Brits and neither were willing to build some for reasonable price
>Make deal with French for submarines
>USA decides that they want to make those submarines
>USA bribes/threatens aussies to cancel the deal with the french even though the subs were already in production (and pay massive fine for breaking the deal)
>Aussies then make deal with USA instead for submarines
>USA sits on their asses for a few years doing nothing
>And now USA cancels the submarine deal with aussies because it is unprofitable or someshit
Yeah, seems quite a clownshow
