Yeah it's intentionally cringe because one is antisocial + autistic and the other has severe anxiety due to her helicopter mom.
Plus Noelle talking about her ferris wheel ride with Kris feeling "forced" is supposed to be a miscommunication moment to make Susie think her feelings aren't reciprocated. They obviously both care about Kris, anyone who thinks Noelle actually hates Kris is either an uber autist, a readlet or intentionally misinterpreting the scene to start shit.
Tbdesu my opinion on Suselle is that I don't actually care because they don't have that many "actual" scenes together. They never get to like, hang out normally.
I also just don't care for teen drama anymore, so every Kris, Susie and Noelle ship is just lame to me.
