The Great Slumber and the Calling of the Chosen
Wearied by his divine labors, Fat Kitler reclined upon a red throne atop Mount Meow, entering the Great Slumber, a rest so profound it spanned seven cycles of the moon. In his dreams, he shaped the Pawple, a noble fellowship chosen to uphold his sacred will. The Pawple were blessed with sleek, unblemished fur, a natural urge to groom as an act of reverence, and a deep sense of feline honor, shunning the stinky canines that roam the streets. To them, Fat Kitler entrusted the Code of the Claw, a set of hallowed tenets carved not in stone but into the living wood of sacred trees:
1. Cherish the Fur: Never mark the body with ink, for it defiles the divine gift of Fat Kitler.
2. Purr in Harmony: Gather to share warmth and song, echoing the deity’s sacred purr, and reject the discord of canine barks.
3. Feast and Rest: Honor life’s abundance with grand feasts, followed by rest to join in spirit with Fat Kitler.
4. Uphold Feline Honor: Shun all ties with the stinky canines that roam the streets, for they weaken the noble spirit of the feline heart.
The Betrayal of the Marked and the Dishonored
Not all heeded Fat Kitler’s noble vision. A wayward band, the Marked Ones, defied the ban on tattoos, etching their skin with cringe signs. More shameful still were the Dishonored Ones, felines who broke their sacred honor by bonding with the stinky canines that roam the streets, mingling with mangy mutts and curs in defiance of their kind. Led by a fur-less outcast named Skratch, who bore ink and kept company with a foul-smelling dog, they scorned the Pawple, claiming their marks and canine ties made them free.
