I'm in a sysadmin job that I fucking hate. I think that I'm either a poor fit for the organization and its culture or it's just the wrong job for me after all.

I'm thinking about just quitting but I'm not sure if I'm really employable for anything else. Fuck me. At least I have enough money to last quite a while.

Assuming it is what is usually called helpdesk, then whoever is doing the hiring is probably right. Helpdesk usually isn't really even a "tech" job, it's customer service. He wouldn't be happy there and would probably have a hard time putting up with it. I get some spillover from helpdesk as a sysadmin, and it's enough to annoy me a lot.
