I don't use the gas as its suppose to be dissolved in water. I used the two part kit and have trialed it on myself at increasing concentrations for up to 7 days. Starting out at 30 ppm increasing up to 650 ppm. Most I have experienced is a day of stinky farts. You will be put off by the smell and taste before suffering any negative effects if used correctly. Just don't drink 8 liters of the 3000 ppm concentration. I tried to get sick on ClO2, I really did. But I found it impractical to get there. It fixed my psoriasis for sure. As for a nootropic, it takes pressure off of my head. Its more effective as a non toxic disinfectant that I also take when I am getting sick. Prevents coughing sore/dry throat. As for my spelling/grammar, you can say that I am not a bot. I am also using an on screen keyboard so I miss sometimes.
