I haven't tried CPU's but I just ran about a pound of RAM and got less than half a gram of gold.

so not exactly worth the bother unless I'm running other scrap and toss some computer shit in the mix. There is gold there, just not a lot.

I've been having more luck crushing gold ore from some local mines though. I've got several grams total over the last couple days.
