You misunderstand, of course it can do multiple characters (and even then it often requires tools like couple or regional prompter to make them) but that's all it does: characters.

You try to make a background and it will always be a 1 vanishing point corridor. Any composition more intricate and it starts to break down because it's mostly used for gooning and trained on making characters.
