Unless all those QoLs were done and they were waiting for the anniversary. I could live without QoLs, but if they start giving less content or worse quality because of paid content preference, then it's ogre.

I don't think the game is that high maintenance. Imo, all those changes are made along with advertisements to attract new players who will see selective tickets and gacha skins and less fated guests as the norm.
The more people play, the more people will be satisfied, because they won't care about those issues, like with Nikke, just a cattle that plays for the sake of playing and don't you dare criticize developers, look how much free stuff they give me!
I'd rather them pumping out bunch of limited costumes than paid skins, because you would have to put effort into limited stuff, but seeing as they want to slow down on limited costumes, makes me think if they just want to put less effort and move that effort to skins.
