I did some research but have conflicting results. For OG Xbox I have a question.

I did well over 100 HDD swaps for OG xbox from 2006-2019. 10 or so modchips. About 50 cap kits too. The thing is I have not touched modding or fixing one since 2019. A local store just gave me 20 to fix so I could sell for charity. I want to swap the hard drives and do a basic hack before I sell.

I think my previous methods are similar to CHIMP and Rocky5 to swap drives and do a softmod.

What is the best current method to do a basic hack that would allow me to just swap to the 80pin cable, update to a larger drive, and let the buyers play whatever games on the console after they buy it from me.

Endgame exploit and then do a TSOP to some random bios that lets any hard drive boot (even ones that are not locked or properly keyed)???

Thanks to anyone that knows what is best. I checked the OP and it seems there are no real guides for OG xbox, or at least what is most recommended today
