Because people see driving as linear, or a straight line. You cannot pass them as it is not your turn. Passing someone is tantamount to cutting in line which is theft. You speed up to pass ahead, they blast past you to block, you come to a dead stop to fall behind and they match you and tell you do not pass. People freak out because they feel slighted. The average NPC cannot fathom lateral thinking or 4D chess. People have also lost basic decorum and manners and have no shred of giving a little to others. They see people as riding their ass or cutting them off, never in a positive light.

Now of course negroes are different and I don't bring them into this as they never follow any rules.
