They're planning on releasing high elves for the Alliance and Blood Elves for the Horde later down the line. Both would be able to play as Warriors, Paladins, Priests, Hunters, Rogues, Mages Warlocks and more importantly Shaman and Druid. Initial starting zone would be together a la Pandas in MoP, after the first 5-10 levels you get ported to a (slightly level upturned and customized) Eversong Woods and a completely new High Elf zone.

If they manage this it will CRIPPLE Turtle, High Elves is basically all they got left
