FMC has always been that way, and it is because of Sylma. Sylma refused to intervene decisively when it came to drama. The most he would do is talk to people and offer them empty assurances, sometimes saying completely contradictory things to two different people if he thought that is what they wanted to hear. Sylma was so well respected that he could have posted in discord saying "stop talking about this anon" and anons would have listened. It would have also made the anons who were being gossiped feel better. He didn't. He just told them "lol ignore the thread" as people said the worst things about them. This is even worse when you consider in some cases it was very obvious who was saying what and he still refused to intervene. Even when the drama was being posted in the discord he did not step in and put his foot down.
FMC having no loot rules was a Sylma decision and it resulted in loot drama. FMC having no rules against pugging during guild raids was a Sylma decision and it resulted in drama. Allowing /heals/ posters and ERPers to push away normal players was a Sylma decision and he made it for obvious reasons.
You should learn from Sylma and FMC but you should learn from its mistakes. You are correct that posting screenshots of raid clears was a smart decision. But Sylma made so many bad decisions. And those are the biggest lessons you need to learn from. Posting screenshots is a nice plus but you can't let your guild be thrown to the dogs and post butt pictures while it happens if you want to have a healthy guild.
FMC has gone through over 100 anons at this point based off the discord. It has never filled a 40 man raid. Not during FMC 2.0 or 3.0 or 4.0 or 5.0. It has always struggled with numbers. And the bottom line is people don't want to play with other people who treat them bad.

Sylma allowed the worst sort of anons to fester in FMC and even promoted some of them. He let anyone do whatever they wanted and drama to go unrestrained. As a result good anons left and bad anons stayed. Now FMC is where it is because of Sylma and his failures as a leader.
I would say even posting screenshots to the thread wasn't a great thing because he was always posting kneeling in front of the hunter pet he erped with and with his gooner mods on full blast such that he even had to censor some screenshots.
And not allowing pugs to raid was a Sylma rule. "Anons only" was a Sylma rule. FMC did not have non-anons in its raids during Sylma's reign. This is yet another mistake Sylma made that has unfortunately been followed blindly instead of learned upon to this day.

Even if you have decent ping, you’re still getting hit by melee attacks from 20 yards away or somehow getting spell errors and casting bugs.
World PvP is almost non existent. You’re going to run into T3 and R14 sweats. The only “good” PvP happens while you’re leveling and that’s if you don’t get camped by a 60. The reason I say it’s good is because you’re on the same level as your enemy. Shit gear and shit abilities makes for a fun shit show.

These two classes are usually the top played classes on vanilla servers. Putting them together on the same token is trash.
What they need to do is go through level 60 census data and make tokens based on that to evenly spread out how valuable each individual token is. You don't want half your raid rolling for one token while another token drops and only one guy rolls on it.

I think best way is start with level 60 pop data then adjust later using average raid comp data. Let players know you'll be adjusting tokens and how before implementing so they have time to turn in.

let's say we get the perfect distribution, every class represents 100/9 = 11.11% of the server
your server population is like 3000 which means you have 3000 * 0.1111 = 333.33 of each class
now let's say one class for some reason is 15% of the server which is the highest I have ever seen
that class is 3000 * 0.15 = 450 so you have 120 more players of the same class over the average of perfect distribution
same goes the other direction, a class is heavily underrepresented with 7% so you have 3000 * 0.07 = 210 so you have 120 less of that class on the server over the average of the perfect distribution
the difference between playing a highly popular and very unpopular class isn't that high, at the extremes it's 240 more or less players competing with you on a 3000 player server
