Lole, this thread isn't even on-topic anymore; it wasn't the moment someone inquired about whether it's AI--no shit dumbass.
I'm not an anti-AI faggot, but I'm also not a fan of all the shit images people put out, most of which are grotesque and just straight-up weird--who would've thought "idea guys" have shitty ideas that should've never seen the light of day. AI images should be banned from /a/ before it ends up like /g/, where there's like three or so AI related generals at any given moment. It's an anime board, there's plenty of anime related images, screenshots and maymays to post. Any happening which just so happens to involve AI and its affect on the industry is fine--just don't let it devolve into (complete) undistilled retardation.
If jannies can't be assed to ban AI images on sight--similar to how they don't bother banning queerjaks even after the hack--then at the very least make sure no AI related general ever sprouts up. Abort it at the moment of conception.
With regards to the Huke's art style, I don't an exact one-to-one adaptation would work. However, I think White Fox should've stylized it closer to his art style--something similar to what The Count of Monte Cristo or Mononoke looks like--to closer fit the water color-like art style of the VN, or passed it onto another studio. I can see why they just did a straight-forward adaptation however, for the sake of being pragmatic. It's not an anime original; it only serves as an advert for the source material being adapted.
For the sake of consistency across the other entries in the series, a generic anime art style would be best. I don't mean generic in a negative way, just that all anime have a certain "structure and form" to it--for lack of a better explanation.
