I also liked those three, and Power Rangers/Batman- but I was really into Gargoyles thanks to the toys, funny enough in regards tot his thread- but the toys always had them with al this cool stuff like armor and weapons and always angry as fuck.
I would watch the show sometimes and it was cool, but there was a feeling that it didn't jangle the keys enough with cool stuff. I can appreciate it more now, but as a 5 or 6 year old? Macbeth isn't capturing my attention. The show in general is relatively contemplative, where as stuff like BW or Power Rangers had this driving rock or synth beat and lots of action, or MiB would have a lot of engaging visuals, and Godzilla of course had the sheer impact of the monsters.
With Gargoyles, despite being big winged monsters, the characters don't really feel like that a lot of the time.
I guess what I'm saying is, I could've used more sequences of Brooklyn riding this
