I cannot comprehend the logic behind designing an upgrade system which requires you to share with your teammates also featuring a tiered rarity system. Do they seriously not expect every single pub to just go after whatever upgrade has the highest rarity and random medley of stat boosts? Nobody is going to pass up on that shit, whoever gets dibs on upgrades will be taking it for themselves and everyone else is gonna be left with table scraps.

I don't get why upgrades have to be locked to one per player, imagine if in L4D you wanted to take the AK but someone else grabbed it first and now you have to pick between the dual pistols or the submachine gun. All this is going to lead to is people leaving games because they don't get the upgrades they want - why wouldn't they?

This shit is going to come down on them like a sack of bricks once they open RC to the public and the reality sets in that you can't expect pubs to be patient and generous with one another because that's literally never worked.
