Our husky is turning 10 this year and had a partial mastectomy and hysterotomy last week. She has breast cancer and now we're told she's got lung cancer and kidney crystals. When is it appropriate to get another dog? Should I wait until after our pup dies or get another dog to transition my dad into relying on the new dog?
