it's an online game. we like loot. non-unique legendaries just get some silly amalganation name based on some effects / paint / mods etc.

also can just rename it like FO4 if you want and have it be called [Gun.] instead. the effects themselves make sense if you play the games.

and if you like that, wait 'till you see an item that has a bunch of inherent effects, and set effects, AND legendary effects - like power armor.
