Age of Calamity's story is actually good though and way, way better than what we actually got in BotW.
That Calamity Ganon wasn't much of a character whatsoever and more like a force of nature. Was fine. Really. But the fact that there was no herald(s) of Ganon to act as antagonist really sucked.

Astor, at minimum, should have absolutely been in BotW proper. But AoC was pretty good in general.
