People here talk about talent, high IQ, having a good teacher, genes... But I'm starting to think that what truly helps you make it, is obssession, stubborness. Is drawing even when you get nothing in return. Even when you want to quit, want to give up you get pulled back in against your own will. It's irrational and compulsive. I think you have to be at least a bit insane to be a good artist.
