I try to headcanon EVE as a Hyperautist machine that only read about humans and some of their rituals in books, and now that she landed on Earth for the first time she wants to do some of that good stuff she read about or saw in old video material too by mimicking their behavior, but she doesn't quite get the contextual or Social nuance of what is appropriate or not.
